Electrical Appliance Use in Public Housing

This project considers the electricity load profiles, and the contributing appliance usage patterns, for individual public housing units across multiple providers. The population of interest is low-income households.

We will be looking at the nature, availability and use of electrical appliances and how this affects overall electricity use patterns of public housing tenants, in terms of both timing and total consumption. We are interested in how energy use profiles for specific appliances in public housing compares to known profiles for the same appliances amongst all types of housing tenure.
