Temperature and Wellbeing
Indoor temperature is known to contribute to wellbeing and health outcomes, and so is used as an indicator of housing quality in both national and WHO housing standards. In this project, we are installing indoor thermometers in homes across our different public housing partners and measuring how much time people spend at different indoor temperatures. We will then look at how those temperatures relate to different aspects and concepts of wellbeing, including Māori concepts of wellbeing.
