In this project, Master's student Kennedy Templer is exploring tenants' involvement in the governance of public housing in Aotearoa. The research will involve semi-structured interviews with public housing tenants to gain insights into their perceptions and experiences with governance. By assessing the successes and challenges of tenant engagement, the project aims to improve tenant participation in governance processes and strengthen collaboration between community housing providers (CHPs) and tenants. This work contributes to filling a gap in national research on tenant governance in public housing.

Project lead: Kennedy Templer
